Lindsey Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in creative writing with a minor in journalism from Western State Colorado University. She also obtained a Copyediting Certificate from the University of California, San Diego. She spent three years as the lead copy editor for the Top o’ the World newspaper, and she spent four years copy editing for the Gunnison Country Times. She currently edits full time, working mainly with self-publishing authors and small publishing houses. She specializes in fiction, memoirs, and outdoor-adventure writing but welcomes all types of manuscripts. She is the head copy editor for The Climbing Zine, an internationally distributed magazine, and Benighted Publications, which produces adventure memoirs rooted in the great outdoors.

Greg Coates has been in the luxury hotel business for close to 50 years. The last 25 have been spent as an Executive Recruiter servicing clients such as Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood, Peninsula, Hilton and major independent hotels and resorts.

I’m a former criminal defense trial lawyer who is now an editor specializing in academic manuscripts. I have worked as an academic editor for over 8 years. In addition, I’m a freelance editor for all types of writing, and I write fiction. I am well-versed in CMOS, AP and other proprietary styles of editing. Please see my resumé for more information.
